Lady Nelson
Scale 1:64 • Length: 21 inches • Entry level kit
The cutter Lady Nelson was designed for fast speed, adopting an unusually large spread of sail for the size of the vessel, and deploying both fore and aft plus square sails on a single mast. Cutters excelled at patrol and dispatch duties, but they were not suitable for close inshore work due to their deep draught. Amati's Lady Nelson kit has been designed with the beginner/intermediate modeler in mind; it's an ideal introduction to the art of plank-on-bulkhead construction. Includes laser-cut birch plywood and walnut parts, metal and wood fittings, hardwood display base and brass pedestals. | | HMS BOUNTY KIT 1:60 AMATI

Includes precut keel and frames; double hull walnut planking; cast metal, brass and hardwood fittings; photoetched details; sail material; authentic rigging and flags; detailed instruction book and construction plans.

HMS Vanguard
Scale 1:72 • Length: 46 inches 1:60 • Master level kit
Note: This is a genuine Amati (made in Italy) kit. Beware of cheap imitations!
The HMS Vanguard of 1878 (the fifth ship to bear this name) enjoyed a long and eventful career under several commanding officers, including Admiral Nelson. She played a key role in winning the Battle of the Nile against the French Fleet in 1798. Vanguard spent her waning years as a prison ship and powder hulk, and was dismantled in 1821.
Amati's impressive master level kit replicates her 1798 appearance and employs double-plank-on-bulkhead construction, with extensive use of laser-cut wood parts. Brass detail sheets include photo-etched window frames, flintlock detail and monograms for the cannon, footrope stirrups and other fine yard and mast detail, deadeye strop/chainplate fittings, gunport scuttles, hinges and plenty more! The 32-page fully-illustrated building manual and twenty full-size plan sheets guide you through every construction step, including rigging and the option to equip the model with sails (cloth included). Bonus parts can be used to build the ship alternately as HMS Elephant or HMS Bellerophon (highly-detailed cast figureheads and stern ornaments are provided for all three versions). | | SEGUIN TUGBOAT MODEL KIT, 1:48 SCALE
